Our local weather data is collected using our Davis Vantage Vue weather station. If you would like to know technical information regarding the units and accuracy of our measurements, you can download the specification sheet here.

Data is transmitted from our weather station every 2.5 seconds, then processed and recorded using Weather Display, which produces various charts and dials that are found on this website.

Data is also provided automatically to a number of services, such as Met Office DataPoint, Weather Underground and the Citizen Weather Observer Program.

We also log the current weather conditions every minute to our database. We will happily provide researchers and educational institutions full access to our recorded weather data in CSV format free of charge.
